Queries regarding JEE Main 2017 Application Form

Yes, but a candidate can change the mode of examination from pen and paper based examination to computer-based examination only.
It is not compulsory for candidates to appear in both the papers. They can appear in the paper of their choice. However, there is no refund of fee.
In order to avail the name of the Boards recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, candidates may visit www.aiuweb.org
Candidates can correct the following particulars only if they have paid the fee and completed all the steps of online application form: City of examination Paper 2 to Paper I or Vice Versa Select both Papers I and II Change of examination mode from pen and paper-based to computer-based only. The balance fee, if any due to correction in particulars, have to be paid by the candidates during that period.

Queries regarding JEE Main 2017 Admit Card

In case, if a candidate forgot to enter 12th roll number or equivalent qualifying examination certificate/admit card issued by the board, then he/she will not be allowed to download the hall ticket of JEE Main 2017. The candidates belonging to Bihar and Jharkhand must enter their roll code with the roll number without space. Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir should enter old preference number along with the 12th roll number without space.
At the time of issuing admit card, both the application form of the candidates will be merged and only one admit card will be issued. However, candidates must send an e-mail to jeemain@nic.in mentioning both the application numbers and specifying clearly the application number which they want to be considered.
In case, a candidate does not make any selection, he/she will be assigned a slot/date randomly as per the availability of the same in the examination city selected by them. The session and slot will be mentioned on their respective admit card.

Queries Regarding JEE Main 2017 Exam Center

Candidates who have passed their Class XII examination or appearing it from the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya have to select the city of examination in these states only.
Candidates who have passed or appearing in class XII examination from the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya and have the Aadhaar Card can choose the Examination Centre across India.
